After reading the newsletter from the best and biggest grappling/competition organisers, I decided to write a few points for our club members. For the competitors, your brackets will be online before the competition. That is awesome. The weigh in will be done in the bull pen before your matches. No more weight early morning. Once again, we do not encourage anyone to make drastic weigh cut. Wear shoes when going to the bathrooms or when you walk outside the mats! Tap on the body and not on the mats. Verbal tap is better. Coaches will no longer allowed next to the mats. Coaches are not allowed to corner their competitors. Organisers will be using the IBJJF nogi uniforms. It will become compulsory by 2015.
