Level 3 for the next 3 days: GYM CLOSED

 Hi, We will be closed for the next 3 days (Monday 15, Tuesday 16, Wednesday 17 Feb) due to level 3. We will wait an update from the government when we can re open again.

Training report: Kids classes have started

  Kids classes are on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45-4:30(5+) 4:30-4:45(10+). 35 Church St Onehunga Auckland, New Zealand. ADDITIONAL COACHES ON THE ROSTER We have added an additional 2 coaches (Ed & Ken) for the kids classes which means that we have now 8 coaches teaching all the various classes (Adults and Kids). Stu and Serge are taking Tuesdays and Thursdays and are the back up for the other adults classes. Laurance and Luiz are teaching on Mondays and Thursdays. James is taking the friday nogi class. Jay, Ed & Ken will covering the kids classes. We are still taking new students (kids and adults). Please contact us to book for your free trial class. MARCH COMPETITION On Saturday 06 March, we will be our hosting our No Gi Submissions competition. It is $10 only.  The event is open to all the clubs and you do not have to member of any federations. New kids age classes and new training days.

We are added a new kid class for the  age group of 5-10 years old.  Time is 3.45 to 4.30 pm.  Days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.  We still have the classes for the older kids (10 to 17 year old) Time is 4.30 to 5.55 pm.  Days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Please email today to book a free class trial on info@aucklandbjj.com The cost is 25 dollars per week.  We have family discount as well.  Please email us or Facebook message us.  if you need more information. 

Training report and Black Belt training Sunday Session

 The month of January is about to complete. We have couple of dates for competitions in February 13th - Mana Championships - Submission King | Queen - Auckland Venue: TBC 7th - NZ Grappler - No-Gi Auckland Regionals Venue - Auckland - Barfoot and Thompson Stadium 203 Kohimarama Road We are also adding an additional competition for the month of March. Sat 6th March - Auckland BJJ Nogi Subs Invitational Competition. Basically. Round Robin, subs only, but using IBJJF submission technical rules. On Sunday, Stu, Laurance and Luiz attended the Black Belt training session with was held by Renato at his gym. There were over 20 BB training rolling together. The event is monthly and will be hosted at different location every months. Also, we are still taking new students, all level welcome. Couples of competition dates for February in Auckland

 2 competition events to start the year with. 13th - Mana Championships - Submission King | Queen - Auckland Venue: TBC The first one is run by Mana Championship on Saturday 13th February Mana Championship is known for its round robin submission only format. It means you get to have a match with everyone in your weight category which will give you lot of experience. However, they allow knee reaping, toe hold and knee bar from blue belt and heel hooks from purple at the advanced division. The location is to be confirmed but it is usually held at City Kick boxing.
