Training report: Guard sweep and X Guards

This week we taught guard sweep for the beginners and continued on our trilogy of shin to shin,
single X and X guard for the advanced students.

I think they are great guards for nogi and after 3 weeks of drilling it, I can see that students are starting to grasp the concepts.

For the next 2 weeks, Serge will be fishing at the batch and the advanced students will get to drill their favourite moves unless Igor wants to takes the beginners class and Stu can then teach deep half guard.

Otherwise, the next 2 weeks for the beginners is top half guard and bottom half guard.

The couple of new guys that tried out on the first and second week have not been back so I guess there is still vacancies if you want to train at our club.

See you on the mats.
